Appearing as an oversized version of the model named Galaxy Note 10.1 (edition of 2014), Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 tablet raises the screen and stereo speakers arranged horizontally. Helped with a stylus performance and generous bundle of applications, the new Samsung seems an interesting choice for those looking for a tablet with a screen big enough to take the place of a laptop.
Features and Usability
Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is presented with the same design met at the latest version of the tablet Galaxy Note 10.1, its rear is covered with white plastic imitation leather and edges with polished metal. Despite using a generous screen the surface is protected by Gorilla Glass shield respectively a 9500mAh battery, resulting a tablet of only 8mm thick and 753 grams. However, the plastic used in a device slightly so lanky shows its limits visible even on a slight pressure, which is why I cannot recommend the accessory worn in holidays.

Performance and Benchmark results
Equipped with 3GB RAM and Exynos 5 chipset, with OCRA-core CPU at 1.9GHz, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 has shown good performance, although a little smaller than Galaxy Tab 8.4 Pro with Snapdragon 800 chipset (quad-core CPU to 2.3GHz). Thus, while AnTuTu benchmark returned a nearly identical score of 34355 points 3DMark relevant for Android games was only 13951. Given that the screen resolution is the same for both tablets, here the amount of RAM increased to 3GB and can only be an advantage.
Thus, if the budget allows we recommend purchasing the tablet Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 with LTE support, equipped with Snapdragon 800 chipset. Yet no matter the chosen variant performances are offered at a sufficiently close rate that they do not feel the difference in everyday use.
On the back side we have installed a 8MP camera with autofocus and LED flash. Even if it isn't a powerful photo gadget the smartphone camera gave good results, photos results are having defects.
The photos are maintained at acceptable levels of quality even under artificial light in the room, but the more aggressive algorithm applied for image processing reduce from the details.
Pictures obtained in total darkness using LED flash as the only light source, however, have suffered from inefficient focus. Thus, more or less acceptable result it is necessary to have at least one light source around, for example street lighting systems.
Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 features a Li-Ion 9500mAh, more than enough to cover the requirements of its screen 12.2" and installed chipset. The tablet did very well, getting the video playback test time close to the iPad Air.
Watching Full HD movies we get 12 hours and 50 minutes for continuous playback with the screen brightness adjusted to a value suitable for viewing in rooms without ambient light and disabled WiFi connection.
The comprehensive software package and S Pen available accessories, Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 is a great tablet for home, useful both for watching movies and web browsing, relaxing on Android games and exercises creativity drawing or writing directly on its 31cm diagonal screen.
